Rollercity’s central objective is for all members to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
To ensure full safety and enjoyment members MUST follow our terms and conditions whilst on the premises, failure to the rules will result in membership being revoked and members being banned from entering the premises again.
The terms and conditions are:
All skating is at members’ own risk, and Rollercity accepts no responsibility for harm whilst skating at Rollercity. Members fully understand that they attend Rollercity at their own risk and Rollercity accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from attendance.
Moreover, all members, by signing up to these terms and conditions, agree not to pursue any action or claim against the organisation or its members for any issue whatsoever.
Rollercity will aim to ensure that the centre is managed appropriately to ensure a safe environment for all skaters.
•No refunds will be given, under any circumstances.
•No bad/inappropriate language.
•No sitting on the tables or railings.
•No free entry once left. Everyone entering must pay an admission fee.
•Dangerous, reckless or unsafe skating is forbidden. Please be considerate of other skaters.
•Chewing gum is prohibited inside the building.
•No food or drinks to be brought into the building.
•All food and drinks must be consumed within the bar/snack area. No hot drinks are to be taken from the diner area.
•Anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall not be allowed on the premises.
•Socks are required by everyone for hygiene reasons. These can be bought from the Reception for £2.
•Parents shall be held accountable for their child’s behaviour whilst on the premises.
•Members must follow instructions given by Marshalls and instructors and from signs posted.
•Members must not enter the DJ area, other restricted areas, staff areas or licensed bar - for those under 18 years of age.
•Any injuries, regardless of severity, should be reported to a member of staff.
•For your own interests, please do not leave valuable or personal items on tables or counters. Leave them in a locker upon entering.
•We recommend the use of helmets and knee, elbow and wrist guards. These are available to hire or buy from skate hire.
•Do not skate against medical advice, or with any condition which could be exacerbated by such.
Rollercity is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged on the premises:
•Rollercity has the right to inspect all skates and bags when entering or leaving the building.
•Rollercity can refuse entry to anyone for any reason.
•All outdoor skates must be inspected for safety before use is allowed.
•Skates must be clean before use is allowed on our rink.
•There must be no sharp edges, missing wheels or any other issues which could damage the rink or hurt other skaters.
•When your session is over, please return hired skates to the skate hire counter.
•No black “stoppers” are to be used on skates.
•Skates are not to be worn at any time in the dining area, toilets or bar.
•Ensure boot laces are tied, do not allow them to drag on the floor.
•Skate in the direction of flow. Do not skate against the flow at any time.
•Do not carry children whilst skating.
•Adults should skate with children without holding hands.
•No mobile phones are allowed on the rink.
•Skate respectfully of others at all times
•Beginners should use the area at the sides of the rink.
•Observe coned off areas at all times.
•Beginners should use the areas at the sides of the rink.
•No person is allowed on the rink without skates, while skating is in progress.
•When skating backwards, ensure you are aware of your surroundings.
•Large or non-discrete jewellery should be removed prior to skating.
•Long hair should be tied back.
•In the event of a fall, keep hands out of the way of other skaters.
Failure to comply with the terms and conditions will result in membership being revoked and charges being pressed if necessary.
